I wonder if I'm the first back? Oh well it don't matter! Great LAN, there was a lot of Counter Strike going on of course the tourneys :-)

Yeah was a good laff...although the CS tourney was a bit...serious (?!) Still...it ended without bloodshed (if somewhat predictably) but we still didnt play enough INSANE!!! MOHAA was good though!Til next time! SCHTOP! This post is not ready yet!  Authentic Roweb Shifty Eyes Squad

Yer. Enjoyed the lan. Was great fun. made some new friends and got to meet some of my clan for the first time. CS was a laugh and i did like the league format although one thing i didnt like so much was the fact it dragged on for so long. just seemed like the whole of the sunday was taken up by cs where we missed out on some good old worms world party and rally masters!!!!. enjoyed MoH mutliplayer... was really starting to get into it at the end of the lan but i'd just like to take the time out and say a big thank you to all those who took the time to organise the lan and make it all possible. glad everyone felt the same way!!perhaps a change in the large toruney for the next event.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault seems to be quite popular! I like it. M1 Grande or the Bar, or the Mauser or a sniper rifle :p "Enemy at the Gates" anyone?

Well just got back @ 00:30, was definitely a good lan  (although I shan't be coming down from Hull for just one day minus PC again  )An organised IL-2 mass dogfight is in order next time methinks? Will make a nice change to be playing a good flight sim  good lan, look forward to next one (with more X-Boxes ) Anyway, I'm beginning to lose motor functions...must....crawl...to..bed... Well it was my 1st adn not be my last had a funky time, enjoyed the cs games e****ally the custom maps we all played.... quite enoyed my many many knife runs on awp maps :)
Well next time i'll hopefully have my own pute rand be able to stay on all day adn night, i ithnk i missed out on a lot of othwer games :( Unfortunaly had to leave at 2:30 so missed out on playing any more tourni games :(
*just relised last torni game me played was the luvly 19-1 raping off vets played guys, and just played every one much fun, and hope guy who was not looking to healthy lieing next to me gets better,

Another top lan again guys  Thanks to all the staff and everyone involved , I know -=[SWB]= had a great time and really enjoyed the way the cs tourney was run .. cheers to Skopeh and all for that
And who can forget that mad ole game of Oppy Flasher that went on till 4 am lol.....

Top class fun all the way folks! More Superbikes, more MoH, more Virtua Pool 2 and a lot more disk space! MORE ROWEB!!!Some constructive criticisms: some of the time I really didn't know what the **** was gonig on, so perhaps the big screen could be used to display the progress of competitions from time to time and the url's for the compo forms could be displayed. Well,what can i say,all in all an absolute brill lan ,thnx go out to crim & creat for all the legwork on orginising the venue (one of the best yet) & the power/generator etc.
As for the cs tourny,personally i didnt think it was going to be so vast in size,but then again it worked well & i hope everyone had some fun participating in it.A big thnx goes to chiefeh for running the servers ,keeping them up & ticking over & also for his very nice tourney software(helped a hell of a lot).I think a totally random generated (all plrs put their names down & teams will be generated from there on) team touney (mohaa) for the next lan maybe a good idea as everyone looked like they were having a great time at it :) (shame i couldnt join in , /me cries).bit of a shame that q3 didnt take place as i know a few ppl were looking forward to it (inc. myself).this allmost brings my post to an end. the demos & screenies of the cs tourneys are being processed as i type,it looks like there maybe an issue with some of the demos but i will sift through them all & have a look to see if theres anything i can do to sort it,i will post details from where they can be obtained asap

Yeah gg all shame there wasnt much TFC :/ ...oh also i had really crappy transfer speeds (about 20 kbs) :( ..but appart from that a very good lan, n1 guys.

Finally i have sorted the demos & screenies for the gladiators lan cs tourney,we have had constant problems with the demos but i have managed to get 18 decent viewable demos sorted (out of 203)the url is as follows for both ; demos & screenies if anyone has more screenies or demos,i will be glad to recive them,process them & put them with the others a note on the demos,the demos have to be played on a hltv proxy & connected to via ur normal cs client,heres how:
load hltv
enter the settings :loop 0 ,delay 0(will set it to 10)
type status in the console to find what ip & port its running on,u will proberly find it is on something like 127.0.0.1:27020
finally type "playdemo demoname" (demos have to be in ur hl dir with the hltv proxy) in the hltv console & connect to the ip u have previously found via status with ur normal hl/cs client Enjoy , Skope IP: Logged |
