| General
idea |
|

The event is over and
the review, film and reports will follow in due course, until
then we'll leave this info page live so that people can see
what was on offer.
It was good to see clans [inphinity-esports]
(aka 4Kings), [erm], [VETS], and [ARSES] do well in the main
tournaments, and compliments to the finalists in the Superbike
tournament and the winner Smooth. There's some details
about the event on this web page but the best idea is to watch
the official film of the event. This is in 2 sizes to accomodate
both broadband and modem powereed players. It's still quite
a size but we think you'll find its well worth the wait.

| Legal
cover & Disclaimer |
|
Everyone attending a roWeb event must sign a disclaimer and
commitment to not use illegal software. The general points
are:
- Network Traffic Disclaimer: Under new legislation
(think Napster!) the event organisers are liable for providing
a means to transfer illegal data. Illegal data includes
all pirated software, pornographic images/software, and
viruses. At registration you will be expected to sign
a form stating that you will not bring illegal software,
or seek to transfer/copy any across our network. This
indemnifies RoWeb Online Ltd, and you will be solely responsible
for your own actions should you chose to ignore this instruction.
- Portable Appliance Testing certification (PATS).
Under UK Government Health & Safety 'Electricity
at work' regulations, RoWeb Online Limited is responsible
for ensuring all electrical equipment used at its events
is safe to use. This is to protect ALL people
at the event from risk of injury caused by electrical appliances.
Certification is in 2 parts:
1 - Personal Checks You,
as the owner of your equipment should ensure that all
its components are in good working order and are safe
to use before arriving at the event. For further
guidance on what to look for you should click here.
You will receive a form prior to the event which you should
complete and bring with you. This will greatly speed
up your registration when you arrive at the event.
2 - Portable Appliance Test inspection
If we feel it is required we will use a Portable
Appliance tester at the event which will perform a small
series of safety checks on your computer. Should
we find a safety risk you will have the option to either
have it repaired or not participate - BUT we will provide
every assistance in repairing your machine, and will bring
many spare components to ensure any costs to you are minimal,
if any. You will receive a RoWeb PAT certificate
at the event which you should retain as you will not require
another PATS test at RoWeb events if you can produce one
that matches your equipment.
- Personal Injury and Property Damage Disclaimer:
(RoWeb Online Ltd) will accept no liability for loss or
damage to your equipment or to injury you may incur on the
venue premises. If you are concerned about possible damage
to your property or injury to yourself you should take out
suitable insurance cover.
- Admission & Expulsion: We (the event staff)
reserve the right to refuse admission. You should also be
aware that we brook no anti-social behavior, and we will
remove any trouble-makers without refund.
